1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the website owners.

2. How We Use Cookies

CertScore uses a minimal number of cookies to provide and improve our Service:

2.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off.

Essential cookies
Cookie NamePurposeDuration
sb-*-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in (Supabase). Only set after you sign inUntil you sign out, at most 400 days
__cf_bmSet by Cloudflare only if its bot protection is triggered30 minutes

CertScore does not use any analytics or tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views on this website. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not track you across sites.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may set cookies for security and performance purposes. These are covered by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

  • Cookie Banner: The banner records your choice when you first visit the site. CertScore sets no optional cookies today, so either choice keeps only the essential cookies listed above
  • Change Your Preference: Click "Manage Cookie Preferences" in the footer at any time to reopen the consent banner and update your choice
  • Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing cookies through their settings
  • Clear Local Storage: You can clear your browser's local storage to reset your cookie preferences

Note: Blocking essential cookies may affect the functionality of our Service.

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage for two things:

  • Remember your cookie banner choice (the cookie-consent entry)
  • Remember the appearance you pick in Settings, Light or Dark (the cs-appearance entry). There is no entry while it follows your device.

Local storage data does not expire automatically but can be cleared through your browser settings.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

7. Contact Us

If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at: [email protected]
